Chapter 224 Filed an Institutional Grievance over Reassignments

While we welcome new employees and support the Agency's decision to hire new staff, ODAR failed to first follow the Article 19 Employee Reassignment process of the NTEU contract. Article 19 sets forth the process of working the transfer list when vacancies exist. Instead, the Agency filled vacancies without first allowing waiting employees to transfer.

DWPI Litigation Advances to Arbitration

On October 28, 2016 NTEU Chapter 224 filed a grievance over the implementation of DWPI (Decision Writer Performance Index). We grieved over numerous concerns, including expert information that showed certain EEO protected classes have lower DWPI scores.

PACS Level 5 Examples

Since PACS was implemented in FY 2015, the Agency has refused to give NTEU employees an examples of Level 5 performance. During LMC meetings last week in Falls Church, NTEU Chapter 224 obtained the Level 5 PACS Examples. Please look over the examples for your position. If your position is not listed, please let us know. For assistance on any PACS concerns, please contact a Chapter 224 steward or representative.
